In response to the 2010 earthquake, Digital Library of the Caribbean (DLOC) created the Protecting Haitian Patrimony Initiative (PHP) to raise money, collect supplies, and deliver technical assistance to Haiti’s libraries and archives. To date, individuals, universities, and other institutions have donated over $50,000 in money and supplies that the PHP has passed on to Haiti.
